Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the organization’s HR strategy, policies, and operations. This role ensures effective talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and workforce development. The HR Lead acts as a strategic partner to leadership while maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience in Executive HR leadership position and/or C-Suite within major consulting Firm (i.e. Deloitte, EY, Cap Gemini, Anderson Consulting, etc.)
- Strong Executive Presence
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
- Oversee employee relations, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Manage performance evaluation systems and professional development programs
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Provide leadership guidance on workforce planning and organizational development
- Works with CEO to oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation structures as needed
- Works with staff to maintain employee records and HR data systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in HR management or leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality and ethical standards
Preferred Skills
- HR certification (e g , SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent)
- Experience in performance management systems
- Strategic workforce planning experience
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- HRIS software proficiency
